Finished installation

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Here are some final pictures of the commissioned Rousseaux painting. The owners of the piece decided to take the bottom panel which they were debating about. Rousseaux's works usually come in two or three panel pieces where the top larger panel is resin coated and the one or two smaller panels are usually encaustic with a mat finish. The black and white painting looks fabulous against their contemporary furnishings and limestone columns!

Dendy's Flaming June

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Also new to TRA is this gorgeous orginal oil on canvas painting: Flaming June(64x52).  Michigan artist Nancy Dendy painted the reproduction of Frederic Lord Leighton's (1830-96) most famous work. It really is a beauty in person!

Judy Hintz Cox - new works

It seems like we are constantly getting in new inventory which is great for our clients...but not so great when it comes to finding space for it on the floor! We just received from Maryland - artist Judy Hintz Cox's recent works on canvas. The paintings consist of oil and dry encaustic on canvas that make up the White Encaustic Series. The works have a soft, calming quality that read as surface landscape cut-aways or areal perspectives...but then again art is subjective!
