Kai Wolter

Today we took a field trip to Cranbrook! Well...the grounds were beautiful despite the gray weather but our focus for the day was to look at metalsmithing graduate student Kai Wolter. We have seen such a sharp increase in interest in metal work for residential and corporate settings that we are bringing in some new artists to the gallery. Kai's works are very organic and resemble leaves, branches and other forms of nature yet the material is copper that he hand pounds into shape.
